The Many Facets of Conflict

Abstract

This article is written in response to de Graaf and Rosseau’s (2015) article “Transactional Analysis and Conflict Management: Embracing Conflict as an Opportunity for Growth and Learning.” A conflict strategy grid is presented that takes into account the individual’s life position and encounter positions. The authors explain, with examples from their own experience, how some conflicts have been responded to in a healthy manner in the transactional analysis community.
