I. Ego State Theory and Application

The Parent Resolution Process: Reprogramming Psychic Incorporations in the Parent

Pages 289-294 | Published online: 28 Dec 2017

Abstract

The Parent Resolution Process is a kind of therapy with the Parent ego state and with the psychic presences incorporated there. The author suggests the Parent ego state (with the incorporated ego states of previous generations) can be opened and made available to new information, permissions, and resolutions. Minimum and Maximum resolution of the Parent through the infusion and defusion processes are introduced and explained with examples. Special observations about episcript and permission transactions also appear. Therapy with the Parent ego state results in: (1) altering the Parent ego state, (2) helping to decontaminate the Adult ego state, and (3) freeing the Child ego state to do script work.
