Epistemology and Reification of Metaphor in Transactional Analysis

Abstract

This article addresses the reification of metaphors within transactional analysis theory and also speaks to the importance of discovering the epistemology of transactional analysis. A preliminary review of early articles discusses these issues and the use of Berne's metaphorical term “contamination.”
