Abstract
This response to Gobes applauds the process of exchanging subjective criteria for transactional analysis terminology. However, the author questions the mixing of explanations and descriptions, Gobes's definition of “clinical effectiveness,” and the implied imposition of the therapist's definition of reality on the client.
