Abstract
This article offers a brief summary of two subsystems in transactional analysis—self-reparenting and redecision therapy—that can be used independently or together, in weekly groups, or in residential five-day workshops. The authors highlight the compatible goals, processes, and leadership roles of these two models.

Mary Goulding
Muriel James, Ed.D., and Mary Goulding, M.S.W., are both active Teaching Members of the ITAA and well-known therapists, authors, international keynote lecturers, and workshop leaders. Each year they colead a workshop that integrates self-reparenting and redecision theories and techniques. Mary Goulding lives in San Francisco, and Muriel James lives in Lafayette, California.
