Abstract
Individuls often make powerful, firm, early script decisions during both overtly traumatic and seemingly nontraumatic events. Many of these early traumas are not resolved in talk therapies. The developmental minithon is an easy, low stress, action-oriented experience designed to uncover and resolve issues related to such childhood trauma. This article describes the genesis of the model; what makes it unique; the theory behind it; the structure, process, and safeguards built into it; ways to limit transference in the context of the minithon; and some outcomes of the process.
