Abstract
Menopause is an event experienced universally by all women including women with chronic medical conditions such as diabetes mellitus. The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of the menopausal stage on the health and psychological adjustment to illness among women who have diabetes mellitus. The results of this study represent a beginning in the understanding of the impact of the menopausal event on chronically ill adult women.
