Abstract
This study is an examination of the apparel needs of aging women. Through the use of data from a focus group of medical caregivers and the results of a design class which worked in the area of providing apparel appropriate to the needs of this population; apparel related problems encountered by aging women are identified. Specific design solutions are suggested and industry responses are explored.
