Pages 107-115 | Published online: 12 Oct 2008

ABSTRACT

This article analyzes the relationship between physicians and elderly female patients, and broader, societal problems of aging women interacting within today's health care system. In light of the principles of equal respect for persons and distributive justice, individual practices and social factors are scrutinized for their roles in the quality of health care that elderly women as a group receive.
