Abstract
The articles in this double issue of Western European Education are devoted to aspects of educational change in the Federal Republic of Germany. Rather than focus on one particular problem or level of education, we have attempted to provide a broad, up-to-date, and reasonably intensive picture of the ideas, concerns, and practices in educational reform in Germany.
