Perspectives of European Cooperation

Pages 65-72 | Published online: 18 Dec 2014

Abstract

On ceremonious occasions, one often hears about "the Europe of universities." Reality does not seem so full of pathos. A manifold network of relationships, partnerships, and joint programs has made the beginnings of closer mutual relationships possible. The influence of the various states has not always been helpful, as the example of mutual recognition of study performance shows. The plea for more flexible application regulations appeals to the features shared in common by institutions of higher learning in the present period.
