Abstract
The visit to Athens and Ioannina in connection with the school reintegration of the children of Greek emigrants in their parents' country of origin was the fourth and final visit made in the framework of Council for Cultural Cooperation (Conseil de la coopération culturelle—CDCC) Project No. 7 on the education and cultural development of migrants. The visits were chosen in terms of their subjects' relevance to the objectives of Project No. 7. First, we wanted to see what was actually being done, bearing in mind the three aspects which the Project Group regarded as fundamental and had agreed to single out for study, in connection with the integration, education, and cultural development of migrants:
-the relationship of school to family,
-the relationship of school to the culture of the community,
-the cultural development of adults, especially women.
