Abstract
The Ministry of Education in collaboration with the Two Sexes Equality Council organised in May 1985 a conference on the subject of equality between the two sexes in education. In the course of the conference attention was drawn to the fact that subjects such as environmental studies, social education, civic education, modern literature, and language had been introduced into primary education and that in these subjects equality and human rights were specially emphasised.
