Abstract
Located on Rome's highest hill and occupying the tenth and eleventh floors of a building of the Catholic University of Rome's campus, our Pediatric Oncology Center is presently following about 500 children with cancer. A large section of the eleventh floor contains such facilities as kitchen, dining room, living room, playroom, and an extensive roof garden; it has been designed to help handle the psychological problems of children and parents by giving them a feeling of being at home.
