Maps as readers’ aids: Maps and plans in Geneva biblesFootnote¹
This essay was written as part of a more general and ongoing study of maps in sixteenth century Bibles undertaken in collaboration with Catherine Delano Smith. An earlier version was presented in April 1992 as part of the lecture series Maps and Society at the Warburg Institute, University of London.
