3 ‘Naturalised grammar’ is the notion that the taken-for-granted features of the social (norms) are not given features of the cosmos – i.e. ‘natural kind’ but, rather, are the artefacts of long forgotten, historical, cultural products of the most contextually powerful social agents; continually reproduced through institutions such as media outlets, large corporations and business schools – and their servants. Examples of such grammars might be – that scientific knowledge is neutral; that social hierarchy is natural; that language expresses reality-as-it-really-is rather than interpreting it; that selves and minds are discretely individual; that agency is independent of social capital and positioning (connections and power relations – cultural ecology); that there can be only a single true storyline, etc. (see Blantern Citation2021a).

4 See Blantern (Citation2021b) on ‘organisational schooling’.
