ABSTRACT
Nowadays, 3D-printing developed to simplify the fabrication of complex parts quickly. The applications of this new technology have outspread in some industrial fields. Reinforcement fibers have been vastly used in composite manufacturing to enhance the mechanical strength of matrices to fulfill industrial requirements. Recently, 3D-printed composites have developed using reinforcement fibers and additive manufacturing materials like polymer resins. In this review, the different methods of manufacturing printed fiber-reinforced composites introduced, and experiments for obtaining the mechanical properties are considered. In addition, the investigation of mechanical properties through simulation methods is mentioned.
