¹Artists participating in the project: performers Antonija Livingstone, Brynjar Bandlien, Loup Abramovici, Marcela Levi, Pascal Quenaud, space designer Nadia Lauro, musician Boris Hauf and myself. The group worked from June to November 2006 in Portugal and France.

²In Portuguese there is still a distinction, in Christian theology, between ascese and ascética. Ascética has a wider sense than ascese , which is applied to particular exercises (to go on a fast, or other actions/ behaviours; to fight against a specific vice or source of pleasure).
