Abstract
There’s a pleasure in writing about an event retrospectively within a frame not fully considered at the time of the event’s development. To view The Library is Open! – a night of drag queen culture at the Scottish Poetry Library – from the perspective of this issue’s theme, libraries, affords an opportunity to recognize the ways in which the event’s content was bound into – shaped and informed by – the library setting.’
Notes
1 Shortly after I found Emitt’s poems on it, the original Luna Luna host website (http:// lunalunamag.com) was hacked and a new website was set up by its editors to replace it: www. lunalunamagazine.com. Emitt’s poems have not been uploaded to the new website and are currently unavailable online.
