W. Joel Schneider
W. Joel Schneider, PhD, received his doctorate in clinical psychology from Texas A&M University in 2003. He is a Professor of Psychology at Illinois State University where he divides his time between the Quantitative and Clinical/Counseling Psychology programs. He also supervises the ISU College Learning Assessment Service, writes assessment-related software, and writes about psychological assessment and psychometrics at his blog, AssessingPsyche.
Alan S. Kaufman
Alan S. Kaufman, PhD, is Clinical Professor of Psychology at Yale University's Child Study Center in the School of Medicine (since 1997). Alan worked closely with David Wechsler in the development and standardization of the WISC-R, and his books on the psychometric and clinical interpretation of Wechsler's scales have been influential worldwide. Alan and his wife Nadeen co-edit the influential Wiley book series Essentials of Psychological Assessment and have published many cognitive, achievement, and neuropsychological tests, including the K-ABC, K-BIT, and K-TEA and subsequent editions of these tests (KABC-II, KBIT-2, KTEA-3).
