Pages 16-19 | Published online: 30 Jul 2013

Abstract

Group hypnotherapy in the form of specialized clinics is described whereby clients in a university counseling center are seen in the following areas: weight control, smoking withdrawal, scientific relaxation, concentration and examination behavior, and assertive training. The clinics are held once weekly and limited to five in each group. Screening procedures and content for each clinic are described. Steady improvement has been noted for all clients who have regularly attended the clinics.
