Peggy L. ApplePeggy L. Apple is an Associate Professor of Early Childhood Education atClarion University of Pennsylvaniawith a doctorate in Curriculum & Instruction from Indiana University-Bloomington. As a university faculty member for over thirty years she has worked in Texas, Indiana, and Pennsylvania in various faculty and administrative roles. During her career she also served as a presidential/chancellor spouse for eight years.
& Karen M. WhitneyKaren M. Whitney served as Interim Chancellor of Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education (PASSHE) for one year and served as President of Clarion University for seven years. Karen holds a doctorate in Higher Education Administration from the University of Texas at Austin. She also held a variety of higher education leadership positions in Texas and Indiana. Karen writes, lectures, and consults in the areas of higher education administration, leadership, management, and finance.
