Mary McNaughton-Cassill
Mary McNaughton-Cassill, PhD, Professor of Clinical Psychology at University of Texas at San Antonio, received her PhD from the San Diego State University-University of California San Diego Joint Clinical Doctoral Program. She is a recipient of the Piper Professor Award and the University of Texas Regents’ Outstanding Teaching Award, is a fellow of the University of Texas System Academy of Distinguished teachers, blogs monthly for Psychology Today, and has published several books on stress and coping.
Stella Lopez
Stella Lopez, PhD, Associate Professor of Psychology at University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA), received her PhD from the University of Texas at Arlington and specializes in social and personality psychology. She is the Undergraduate Advisor of Record for UTSA’s psychology department, a reviewer for student scholarships at the Ford Foundation, and an editor for the student-focused Psi Chi Journal.
Aaron Cassill
Aaron Cassill, PhD, Professor of Biology at University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA), received his BA from Harvard University and his PhD from University of California San Diego. He is the recipient of the Howe Award for Outstanding Service to Students, the University of Texas Regents’ Outstanding Teaching Award, and the statewide Piper Professor award, and he is currently the Associate Director of UTSA’s Research Initiative for Scientific Enhancement (RISE)/Maximizing Access to Research Careers (MARC) student research support programs.
