Abstract
Late Cretaceous (Lower Haumurian Stage; Campanian‐Maastrichtian) cephalopods from the Chatham Islands, New Zealand, are rare. The first report here of several large, fragmentary ammonites (Pachydiscus sp. cf. P. riccardi Macellari) and one partial nautiloid shell (Procymatoceras sp.) from shallow marine deposits of the Takatika Grit, northwest Chatham Island, strengthen the macroinvertebrate fossil record of this Southwest Pacific archipelago and New Zealand.
