Abstract
The heat transfer coefficients of flow boiling in a small semi-circular channel of plate once-through steam generator were tested by experimental method in this paper. Based on the experimental data, the numerical simulation of flow boiling in the semi-circular channel was carried out using STAR-CCM + software. The numerical models are the homogenous flow model, the Rohsenow model and the two-fluid model. The heat transfer coefficients of homogenous flow model are lower than the experimental results. The heat transfer coefficients of Rohsenow model and experiment are in good agreement.
