Article title: Percutaneous ablation of the tumor feeding artery for hypervascular hepatocellular carcinoma before tumor ablation

When the article was first published online, in the Results section, there is a statistical error in the ‘p values of the local tumor progression rate’. ‘The local tumor progression rate was significantly lower for the PAA + RFA group than for the RFA group (8.5% vs 21.3%, p < .001)’.

This should be corrected as ‘The local tumor progression rate was lower for the PAA + RFA group than for the RFA group (8.5% vs 21.3%, p = .082)’.

The occurrences and rates of the local tumor progression in two groups were correct, but p value was incorrect using Chi-square test. The p value should be ‘p = .082.’

The p value was a little higher than .05 and would not reach the statistical difference. However, the local tumor progression rate in PAA + RFA group was lower than 12.8% compared with RFA group (8.5% vs 21.3%). This can also indicate the trend of lower local tumor progression in PAA + RFA group. The conclusion was not greatly affected.

This has now been corrected both the online and print versions.
