Summary
Phenotype and gene frequencies of 10 blood group and 12 red cell enzymes are examined in urban Hindu and Muslim and tribal Lambadi samples of Andhra Pradesh, South India. Genetic heterogeneity is suggested between the tribal and the urban samples, both in their gene frequencies and in their breeding structure.
Zusammenfassung
Phänotyp- und Genfrequenzen von 10 Blutgruppen und 12 Erythrozytenenzymen wurden bei Stichproben von städtischen Hindu und Muslimin und vom Stamm der Lambadi in Andhra Pradesh in Südindien geprüft. Eine genetische Heterogenität wird für die Stammes- und Stadtstichproben erschlossen, sowohl bezüglich der Genfrequenzen als auch bezüglich der Heiratsstruktur.

Les fréquences phénotypiques et géniques de 10 groupes sanguins et 12 enzymes érythrocytaires sont examinées dans des échantillons urbains hindous et musulmans et un échantillon tribal Lambadi de l'Andhra Prodesh, en Inde du sud. Une hétérogénéité génétique est suggérée entre les échantillons tribal et urbains, à la fois par leurs fréquences géniques et leurs structures génotypiques.
