Summary
Skin colour data from the population of Nowshahr City, northern Iran, reveal significant differences between the males and females on the upper inner arm and the forehead, and within each sex between the sites. Pigmentary variation in association with pubertal age is not found to be statistically significant. Close affinities in pigmentation with some neighbouring populations are also assessed.
Zusammenfassung
Dis Hautfarbdaten der Population der Stadt Nowshahr im Nordiran zeigen signifikante unterschiede zwischen den Männern und Frauen am oberen inneren Arm und an der Stirn, und innerhalb des Geschlechts zwischen den Stellen. Die Pigmentvariation ist in Verknüpfung mit dem puberalen Alter statistisch nicht signifikant. Enge Verknüpfungen der Pigmentation mit einigen benachbarten Bevölkerungen werden auch benannt.
Résumé
Des données sur la couleur de la peau dans la population de la ville de Nowshahr au nord de l'Iran, rèvèlent des différences significatives au niveau du front et à celui de la face interne du bras dans chacun des sexes, et entre ceux-ci à site identique. La variation pigmentaire associée à l'àge pubertaire n'est pas statistiquement significative. Des affinités de pigmentation avec quelques population voisines, sont aussi exposées.
