Psychometric Analysis of the Survey of Perceived Organizational Support (SPOS-8) Using 1,005 School Counselors

Pages 241-253 | Published online: 27 May 2022

Abstract

Psychometric properties of the Survey of Perceived Organizational Support (SPOS-8) scores were examined with a national sample of school counselors (N = 1,005). SPOS-8 scores displayed good internal consistency (α = .92), one-factor structure, and convergent and discriminant validity. Measurement invariance was evident for White and racial/ethnic minority school counselors.
