Abstract
This is a work in progress that began in Žilina, Slovakia. The plinth generally is a square block forming the bottommost part of the base of a statue. The sides of the square are equal, but every statue has a different elevation, separating it from the ground, raising it to distinct heights. The text accompanying the images are excerpts from conversations with people who reside in the town and navigate the squares and parks where these statues are located as part of their everyday lives.
