As the founder and Editor in-Chief for 33 years (1988–2021), it is way overdue to handover leadership to someone else. The journal has gone through several transformations from 4 issues per year to 6 and then 8 issues. The journal is in excellent shape, with authors literally from across the globe and a very high number of submissions.
Our authors and readers were the cornerstone of the great progress of the journal in terms increased number of issues per year. Your understanding, diligence and patience with us were gracious when we differed, willing to revise the article when needed.
Finally, the new Editor in-Chief is a great scholar and a leader. I am confident she will demonstrate outstanding leadership with a continuation of our high regard for ethical conduct. I could not be more pleased and grateful for her acceptance and the publisher’s blessings.
