When the above article was first published online and in print, there were errors in the concentrations of growth media. The concentrations of macro nutrients were miscalculated in “Plant materials and growth conditions” (p. 90).

The corrected texts are as follows:

Seedlings were rinsed and transferred to a hydroponic culture system, in which soybeans were grown in 500 mL plastic containers filled with mineral nutrient medium consisting of 3.0 mM MgSO4, 6.3 mM KNO3, 0.87 mM KCl, 1.4 mM KH2PO4, 2.5 mM Ca(NO3)2, 21 μM Fe-EDTA, 4.5 μM KI, 28 μM MnCl2, 19 μM H3BO3, 2.3 μM ZnSO4, 0.5 μM CuSO4, and 0.003 μM Na2MoO4, pH 6.0.

For growth under nitrogen-deficient conditions, 4-week-old plants were transferred to a nitrogen deficient (–N) medium, consisting of 3.0 mM MgSO4, 4.4 mM KCl, 1.4 mM KH2PO4, 2.7 mM CaCl2, 21 μM Fe-EDTA, 4.5 μM KI, 28 μM MnCl2, 19 μM H3BO3, 2.3 μM ZnSO4, 0.5 μM CuSO4, and 0.003 μM Na2MoO4, pH 6.0; for growth under phosphate-deficient conditions, 4-week-old plants were transferred to a phosphate deficient (–P) medium, consisting of 3.0 mM MgSO4, 6.3 mM KNO3, 0.87 mM KCl, 2.5 mM Ca(NO3)2, 21 μM Fe-EDTA, 4.5 μM KI, 28 μM MnCl2, 19 μM H3BO3, 2.3 μM ZnSO4, 0.5 μM CuSO4, and 0.003 μM Na2MoO4, pH 6.0.
