Professional Development and Preschool Intervention Research: I Would Rather Have a Talking Frog

Pages 373-376 | Published online: 02 Jun 2009

Abstract

An old man walking down the road came across a frog. The frog exclaims: “I am really a fairy princess, and if you kiss me I will make all of your most passionate fantasies come true!” Without a word the old man picks up the frog, puts it in his pocket, and begins to walk away. “Didn't you hear what I said?” asked the incredulous frog, to which the old man replied: “At my age I would rather have a talking frog.”
