On the occasion of the first Argumentation Network of the Americas special issue

Abstract

In this short commentary, I identify a common theme that argumentation scholars of and from the Americas might have in common - despite the vast heterogeneity of their research interest. I trace the interest in moral and political dimension of argumentation through ANA sponsored events and publication and make the case that this is a welcome development.
