Caroline Cunill, agrégée in Hispanic Literature and Civilization since 2003, received her Ph.D. in Latin American History from the University of Toulouse in 2011. She is currently Assistant Professor at the University of Le Mans. In the course of her research, she has received scholarships from the Académie Française and the Max Planck Institute for European Legal Studies. From 2013–2014, she held a postdoctoral position at the Instituto de Investigaciones Históricas (UNAM).
