Brett Cook
Brett Cook is an interdisciplinary artist and educator. His objects feature painting, drawing, photography, and elaborate installations to tell pluralistic stories that reinvent representation. His public projects typically involve community workshops and arts-integrated pedagogy. His work is in private and public collections, including the Smithsonian/National Portrait Gallery, the Walker Art Center, the Studio Museum of Harlem, and Harvard University. He is currently a trustee of A Blade of Grass and the Inaugural Senior Fellow in Visual Arts at Yerba Buena Center for the Arts. www.brett-cook.com
