The authors of the paper entitled ‘Story-based scales: development and validation of questionnaires to measure subjective health status and cultural adherence in British Bangladeshis with diabetes’ wish the following correction to be made in relation to Appendix 2.
In the last box (score 5 in the social activities dimension) the text should read:
Mrs Khanum is known to have mild diabetes. Nevertheless, she is very pleased with her life situation and satisfied with her personal life. She feels that so far, she has lived the kind of life she wanted to. She is eager to tackle her daily tasks and has no trouble making new decisions or coping with problems in her life. She feels that her life is full of interesting things.
