Pages 34-36 | Published online: 16 Oct 2018

Notes on contributor

Dr Philip Taylor is Assistant Registrar (Partnerships) at Royal Holloway, University of London, where he has responsibility for the quality and standards of UK and international collaborative programmes. He trained as a musicologist at Lancaster University and previously worked as a lecturer in the distance learning, study abroad and transnational education sectors, including posts at Harlaxton College (2009–12) and KM Music Conservatory, India (2012–15).

Notes

1. This revisits concerns over the breakdown of the intergenerational contract raised in the author’s previous book: Willetts (Citation2010).

2. For an extensive multi-part critique of the market ideology underpinning A University Education, see Ridley (Citation2018).
