Reconfiguring music education for future-making: how?

Article title: Reconfiguring music education for future-making: how?

Authors: Buchborn, T., Burnard, P., Hebert, D.G., & Moore, G.

Journal: Music Education Research

DOI: https://doi.org/10.1080/14613808.2022.2076821

When the above article was first published online, there were errors in the below mentioned sentences. The sentences have now been replaced as below:

CORRECTION 1, P1 last sentence in second paragraph.

The sentence starting with the bottom two lines of p.1 is repeated with only very tiny changes near the top of p. 2, and the differences are so subtle that this seems to be an error of accidental and meaningless repetition. Hence, the sentence has been deleted.

CORRECTION 2, P2 Sentence from second paragraph

What counts as teacher knowledges in music, to acknowledge what kinds of musical knowledges are held, and why these knowledges are important in the particular contexts in which teachers teach, are imperatives to unpack. Why? These issues are significant in terms of the key role that dominant cultures (and the exclusion of subcultures) play in teacher knowledges and the resonance gap and gulfs between student interest and the school music curriculum.

CORRECTION 3, P3 On line 4 of first paragraph

The phrase “research and research” has been replaced with “research and analyse”
