Abstract
The present paper offers a reflective account of experiences I gained through my MA and PhD studies. I reflect on several critical events that led me to become the teacher-student I was and became. I discuss three major themes of my reflection – relationships, voice and confidence – and conclude by drawing on a few points to highlight the significance of student-teacher relationship to construction of student identity.
