Greta Hofman works within a Training and Learning Team as a ‘Social Work Professional Learning and Development Officer’ in a Local Authority (North Yorkshire County Council). Her areas of interest include reflecting on how ‘action learning’ can be utilised within the Local Authority to support ‘change’, on-going learning and development (transferrable skills to the workplace). Action Learning is utilised within her role as a Qualified Social Worker, Practice Educator and ASYE Assessor (using supervision, support groups, peer support groups and training as a vehicle/forum to support ‘action learning’).
