Anna Chronaki is a Professor in Mathematics Education and Learning Technologies at the University of Thessaly, Volos, Greece and, currently, a Visiting Professor at Malmö University, Malmö, Sweden. She is researching and teaching in mathematics education from a diverse, transcultural and transnational experience within Europe having studied and worked in the contexts of Greece, UK and Scandinavian countries. Her research interests focus on the social, cultural and political aspects of mathematical activity and explores alternatives practices of how mathematical knowledge becomes re/presented, re/circulated and performed.
