Trends in Research into Gifted and Talented Education in England

Abstract

In this review of trends in research into the education of gifted and talented children in England, we highlight the major themes and policy principles that underpin much recent research, summarize a selection of research projects that we feel have national significance, and indicate a number of issues for future research that have salience for the international community of educators working in this field.
