Welcome to this special issue of the Journal of Library & Information Services in Distance Learning. This special issue provides the proceedings for the 2022 Distance Library Services Conference, which was held at Purdue University, July 26−28, 2022.
A huge congratulation goes to Professor Michael Fosmire and Dr. Wei Zakharov, and all those involved with the planning, organization, and presentation of the conference. Thank you for all your hard work and for delivering such a wonderful conference. This year the Conference offered both face-to-face and virtual attendance, so those who could not travel were still able to participate. As a virtual attendee, I want to thank the Committee for allowing us that option.
As with our previous issues, we hope that you will find this issue interesting and informative. I hope that you enjoy reading about the programs that were offered at the Conference and that they pique your interest for the next Conference. As always, please submit your manuscripts to us. We would love to hear what you and your library are doing to support your distance education community.
I hope you enjoy this issue of our Journal.
