ABSTRACT

In order to obtain ultra-light foamed concrete with a higher strength, carbon nanotubes (CNTs) are added to traditional foamed concrete in this paper. First, Ce(SO4)2 can greatly improve the dispersibility of CNTs in cement paste. Second, relationship between CNTs and compressive strength and air-void structure of ultra-light foamed concrete is studied, and the liner and multivariate linear regression equations of them are established. The results show that liner and multiple linear regression equations of compressive strength on air-void structure and CNTs have a good fitting relation, and CNTs have an important influence on the compressive strength of foamed concrete.
