1. Rhythm dance therapy is a term coined by the author and refers to her unique approach to dance therapy that this book is dedicated to.

2. Dance therapy is a title used worldwide, however the terminology used for this profession varies within Europe itself and between Europe and the USA: the UK favours the title Dance movement psychotherapy, whilst all other European countries including the European Association Dance Movement Therapy have adopted the title Dance movement therapy. In the USA the preferred terminology is Dance/movement therapy.
