ABSTRACT

This study was aimed at identifying geological, geochemical, geotechnical and technical factors affecting the efficiency of repair and renewal of the Central section of the Mynkuduk field. The study included data collection on the technical parameters of the wells, including their design, filter sizes, as well as geological and hydrogeological features of the field. An analysis of the relationships between technical well parameters, geological factors and repair and renewal efficiency was carried out. The methods of operation efficiency assessment and their compliance with the actual results were also analysed. The study revealed that the mode of operation of technological wells depends on many factors, including both objective and subjective. One of them is the consideration of geological features such as well designs and rock composition. The study revealed that the methodology used at the mine is flawed due to the use of wells with different operating periods to estimate average values. The results emphasise the importance of an integrated approach to repair and renewal work on process wells in uranium deposits, considering their different characteristics. This will optimise the operation processes, minimise the risks of emergencies and increase the efficiency of uranium production.
