Ethical codes in youth work: a comparative analysis

Abstract

This essay argues in favour of a mandatory code of ethics for Australian youth workers. It includes positive comparisons between similar client-centred professions and recent international efforts to professionalise youth work while improving best practice through the introduction of ethical codes for youth workers.
