ABSTRACT
Effect of anionic surfactants on the cyclic voltammetric response of Fe(CN)6 3− at a gold electrode modified with self‐assembled monolayer (SAM) of 11‐amino‐1‐undecanethiol hydrochloride was examined. As the concentration of anionic surfactants increases, the currents of [Fe(CN)6]3− reduction decreases and cyclic voltammograms become irreversible. The currents of [Fe(CN)6]3− reduction depended on the concentration of anionic surfactants in the 10−6 M range.
