Richard G. Erskine, Ph.D., is the Training Director of the Institute for Integrative Psychotherapy in New York City. He is the corecipient with Marilyn Zalcman of the 1982 Eric Berne Scientific Award for their development of intrapsychic (racket) analysis and corecipient with Rebecca Trautmann of the 1998 Eric Berne Memorial Award for eight articles published in the Transactional Analysis Journal and for Theories and Methods of an Integrative Transactional Analysis: A Volume of Selected Articles (1997, San Francisco: TA Press).
